| Pet puppies MUST be spayed or neutered (unless otherwise agreed upon) in order for the basic health guarantee to become effective; puppies must also be seen by a veterinarian within the first week you have your new puppy and vaccinations must be kept up to date (though I highly discourage over vaccinating your pet) Puppies will be up to date on current vaccinations when you take your puppy home (a health certificate will be provided); they will have been wormed several times on an age appropriate schedule. All puppies are seen by a veterinarian by 8wks of age for a full health and wellness examination. Our health guarantee is good for two years and insures against genetic problems of the hips and eyes. Puppies are guaranteed to be healthy and free of any communicable diseases upon purchase. If a puppy doesn't receive a clean bill of health by a licensed veterinarian puppy may be returned and money will be refunded. This guarantee is good for the first 72 hours after purchase. After that, no money will be refunded. If within the first two years puppy is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian to have a fatal or life altering congenital or genetic disease, then puppy may be returned and will be replaced. Replacement puppy will come from the next planned litter of puppies to be born. Buyers will be required to sign a contract stating the guarantee and requiring spay/neuter by eight months. This time frame can be extended if there are concerns on behalf of the buyer. For information on purchasing a breeding quality puppy please contact me so that we may discuss the possibility of obtaining and owning one (Special terms and conditions apply). Breeding rights are extra. All puppies sold as breeding dogs will be sold on a two year co-ownership in which time the buyer must have all appropriate health clearances done before breeding rights and full ownership will be handed over (health clearances include OFAs (done at 2 years of age) and CERFs (done yearly)). Puppies will be registered with ASDR; registration papers will be sent out once documentation from a veterinarian of spay or neuter has been received. Shipping is available and typically costs between $250.00 and $300.00. |
